RIP RUE MCCLANAHAN :(
Betty White, who is now the only surviving cast member of Golden Girls, has released a statement about her former costar and pal Rue McClanahan's death."Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasure our relationship," the 88-year-old actress said, reports People. "It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that's even possible."
McClanahan died this morning after suffering a massive stroke. She was 76.
"She passed away at 1 a.m. this morning," the actress' manager told People, saying that McClanahan "had her family with her" when she passed. "She went in peace," said the rep.
I have all their seasons on DVD and watch at least 1 episode everyday.
It never fails to make me laugh so hard and actually made me
laugh through hard times. I have no words and I am so sad.
RIP beautiful Rue, you are a true angel

I loved watching her on Golden Girls :) That show is comedy in a rare form, and it saddens me that she is not with us anymore. Let us continue to cherish the valuable time that we have with Betty. Bless you, Rue. Rest in peace sweetheart. You are missed.
